The past few week has been awesome, filled with painfull feet, hair-dye, Jesus of Suburbia, old people and turtles + lots of other animals. But mostly turtles. We had some internship for school at a nursery and we had to take old people into the zoo on thursday to see animals, and wednesday we had to "get to know each other or something". I will never know how it was, since Keith and I were late, and not just a little, no, we missed the whole thing. It was a failing/pretty damn good combination of hair-dye + getting lost + don't wanting to actually go. So then we hid in a restaurant where we were offered some water-pipes, and us 13/14 year olds were allowed in a room for 21 year olds. Then a day later and after a really cool sleepover we went to the actual zoo where we had to guide a man who didn't talk and who didn't like animals through the zoo, but after lunch we took another lady and she was really cool and kept asking if we wanted ice-cream. Then on friday we had to run but we already had money so we didn't have to in the end (we both hate running) and then we went into town and walked another lot of miles. And later we went to Digital Playground to direct a stop motion, you can see it here. And now I've got vacation and I'm going to Terschelling on wednesday.

Randoms: Destroya, destroya, destroya, destroya!

1 & 2. Self-destroyed denim jackets, there's one for every pirate / 3. Self-destroyed shorts, the one with the black bottom looks more normal in real life. Sort of. / 4. My new Feyenoord shirt & leather waistcoat / 5. My fave movie and fave book, our lyric book, earplugs and a black hat / 6. My new hair. It looks way more exciting on this picture than in real life.

Yeah, I have destroyed a lot of things these past few days, like my hair and my denim jackets, but it's worth it. But I think after this weekend it's kind of official that me + scissors is not a good combination.

On the 5th picture you can see my new favorite movie, what is The Runaways. It's about an all-girl rock-band and it's based on a true story. It is a really good movie and you should all watch it. The message behind it is that no matter how young you are, no matter what gender you are, you can make your dreams come true as long as you work for it and believe you can make it.

And my favorite book is Life by Keith Richards, his autobiography. I haven't completely finished it, I just can't read it fast, but it's awesome.

Hey guys/girls/aliens/whatevers, I know, please hit me, I have been a bad, bad blogger. But I can explain. Sort of. A little. Not really. But anyway, I am going to bore you with a long written post.

Well, basically what happened is that me, Mikey (real name: Iris) and Keith (real name: Jade) were just chilling (read: eating too much) at "our" McDonalds, when all of the sudden a guy came in, telling us more wise lines I have ever heard in my life in just about 15 minutes. It was a life-changing experience, I swear. He came in, we told him we had a band (what we didn't at the time) and then Mikey said: "Shit. I feel guilty we told him we have a band" so then I said: "Why don't we start a band?" and Keith and Mikey immediately said yes so now I'm in a band. And this is a pretty good timing since I got kicked out of my old band (long story) and it has been so much fun already jamming with my plundering and stealing gang - we are called The Pirates.

And as soon as I can and as soon as we get better, I will record/film something and post it here, because I know you are curious.
